The GAO (General Government Accountability Office; sounds like a tough row to hoe these days!) has officially concluded that the FDA followed politics not science in refusing to let the "morning-after pill" (or Plan B) be marketed over the counter. They also noted that a rather evasive system of documenting the decision-making process may violate federal records laws. oops/ A dailyKos diarist points out that there's a video in which one conservative plant commission member bragged about killing the agency's original (positive) recommendation.

Ok, so I'm a year behind. Same job.
But thanks for the patronizing -- I mean patronage!
