Veeeery interesting

Fans of Joss Whedon's short-lived series Firefly (recently resurrected for the movie Serenity) might be intrigued to learn that there's a website surveying interest in direct purchase of the show (via PayPerView or streaming online) -- an attempt to make an end-run around the networks (whose interference gutted the show's debut) and get directly to die-hard fans. The hard-core are out there, and are likely to be willing to pony up for their favorite show(s), especially in the context of Whedon's imagination playing out unhindered by corporate constraints.
