You know all those airport delays that involve removing liquids from people's carry-on luggage? If they really thought they'd be finding explosives, would they be having people pour them into bins right in the midst of the crowd? (And if they don't think they're going to catch anything, why are they tormenting a huge stream of passengers?!) Amazing.(via Medley)
Update: and Rafe points out that they knew about this threat for months and yet only instituted this screening after the arrests were made, adding to the impression that this is mostly kabuki for the masses...
