Nobody cares about the subtle reasoning

Way to give up from a position of strength, Dems. Maybe there weren't the votes for this or that ideal solution, but certainly even sending the same bill back again and again would be better than giving Bush an apparent win for no real gain to anybody else (our troops included). Disappointing is just the half of it.
