Can it really be true, that the FDA is finally going to do something about antibiotics in animal feed?!?!? This has been one of my major causes for years (and a reason for supporting the Union of Concerned Scientists), and this misuse of antibiotics is behind the very real health threat posed by drug-resistant diseases in this country and around the world. It's irresponsible that we've let policy lag so far behind scientific warnings -- kudos to the Obama folks for getting changes underway! w0000000000t!!Thursday, July 08, 2010
