Quote of the day (Thanks, I Needed That edition)

a candle in darkness Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justly, now. Love mercy, now. Walk humbly, now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.
–The Talmud

A good portion for a quote. Being in the moment is not the same as never making progress. Being in the moment can keep us from dwelling in the past where we aren't. It can help us from dwelling in a future that hasn't happened yet while ignoring the present where we really are and really can act. Looking forward opens us to potential so when the future becomes the now we're ready to be there.
