Matt draws the key parallel here when he concludes, "This is why conservatives argue that Mark Felt should have gone to Congress instead of going to Woodward and Bernstein. It would have given them a chance to pretty him up real good." Yeah, even one of the criminal-cum-pundits opined that he probably would have been killed (or just made to disappear). Sigh.
