Apparently in honor of the 30th anniversary of Star Wars, the US Postal Service is converting some of its familiar blue drop boxes into R2-D2 droids -- I had forgotten about this until Albert reported seeing one in the wild on Friday. The concept rather cracks me up, but I have to admit it feels a bit of a weaker joke in light of the postage hikes planned for later this year . . .
